Flow Vinyasa and Yin Yoga

Allison offers Flow vinyasa for all levels. The practice is grounded and fluid, with an emphasis on breath and connection. Allison's style of teaching takes you on a journey to connect Soul, Body and Mind. Each practice is designed to fit the individual or group, from first time beginner to advanced practitioners. Allison also specializes in yoga for trauma survivors, PTS and anxiety. Allison designs practices that are aimed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (calming), release stored trauma from the body and pave new physiological and neurological pathways. As we connect breath, movement and awareness, we allow our bodies natural self-organizing process to occur. We create the space to receive and restore our natural states of well being.

Allison taught at Sonic Yoga in New York City, Bhakti Yoga Shala in Los Angeles, BODY of Santa Fe and was the resident yoga teacher for the Santa Fe Opera. Allison completed module 1 of her Kundalini Yoga Therapy Certification, has certification from the Trauma Center with David Emerson’s Yoga for Trauma and currently teaches at Align Yoga in Brooklyn.

Allison is a retreat specialist, designing holistic healing and creative arts experiences for anyone seeking to deepen, explore and intentionally step into a process designed to ignite, invite and allow the natural self-healing process to occur. Allison can be hired for retreats, workshops and classes.
